What are you most excited about for the fall?
Homecoming continues to get bigger and bigger each year, and sometimes its hard to visualize what the next best thing is that takes it a step higher than the year before, so I’m just excited to see what we as a steering committee come up with and how it will be implemented this fall.

Why did you want to be on Homecoming Steering Committee?
There is no way that as a student I can better start to give back to Mizzou for everything it has given me than to be a part of its most deeply rooted and valued tradition.

What are you most excited about for the fall?
I’m most excited for the excitement (if that makes sense). Homecoming season is a time where everyone’s spirit and passion for Mizzou really shines through and I love seeing how much the tradition means to everyone. It’s really cheesy, but everyone else loving homecoming as much as I do puts a huge smile on my face.

What are you most excited about for the fall?
I cannot wait for the Homecoming football game! Walking out on the field in front of a screaming Mizzou crowd is going an amazing experience and it can’t come soon enough! It’s the closest I’ll ever get to being a D1 athlete.

Why did you want to be on Homecoming Steering Committee?
Homecoming is such a rich and cherished tradition here at Mizzou. Being able to help coordinate, contribute ideas, and serve as a committee member will not only be an exciting adventure but an honor.  I have a great love for Mizzou and the Columbia community! I could not pass up an opportunity to be able to actively show that love by working with other committee members to make the celebration of the 102nd Homecoming an unique and fun experience for everyone!

The 2013 Homecoming theme will be announced at the Black and Gold spring game on April 20th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.
