What does Mizzou mean to you?

“Mizzou is a community of opportunity. What makes Mizzou so special is that it provides an environment for each student to grow in the way they see fit. Mizzou has allowed me to get outside my comfort zone, surround myself with phenomenal groups of people, and challenge myself academically.”

What is you favorite Mizzou memory?

“My favorite Mizzou memory was freshman year when six of my closest friends from my residence hall went to Chicago for a week during winter break. We had a blast exploring the different parts of the city, but it wasn’t solely the city that enticed me, it was the friendships that were furthered through the trip. This experience really solidified my relationships here at Mizzou, and helped me understand that my friendships don’t end in Columbia.”

What is your favorite memory from Homecoming?

“My favorite Homecoming memory is from Homecoming 2014. I represented my sorority as a head liaison that year, and after the campus decorations event ended I sat on our hay barrel for a while and stared at our work. After about 30 minutes, James Franklin and his wife came up our driveway and asked me if I’d take their picture in front of our decorations. They did this with every chapter, and I think it just goes to show how special the relationships with our alumni are.”
